Committee meeting

The BALTREL Committee Meeting was held in Vilnius, Lithuania on 23 October 2007. The meeting was hosted by Lietuvos Energija AB. The Chairman of the meeting was Mr. Jurgis Vilemas, the Chairman of the Council of the Lithuanian Energy Institute.

The Committee proposed Mr. Pawel Urbanski, President of the  Management Board of PGE SA, as the new Chairman of BALTREL for the next period 2008.

The Baltrel Committee approved Task Force (TF-1) report "Merging markets and Security of Supply in the BALTREL countries".

Adjacent to the Committee Meetins also a Seminar was kept concentrating to the issues Merging Markets and Security of Supply in the BALTREL countries (see also Seminars).
