11 countries and 15 companies comprise the Baltic Ring Electricity Co-operation, BALTREL, founded in 1998. The organisation is governed by the BALTREL Committee. It is nominated for the period of one year. The BALTREL Committee consists of the CEOs of member companies. One Task Forces has been established for the current period. The Secretary General co-ordinates and provides assistance in all the activities.
