| BALTREL
-The Baltic Ring
Electricity Co-operation Committee - is intended to play an importat role
in the interaction necessary to develop a common electiricity market in
the Baltic Sea Region. A common electricity market can in substantial ways
strengthen economic development, realibility of electricity supply and the
environmental situation in the region. BALTREL is a high level advisory body for co-operation, studies and consultation consisting of leading persons from electricity supply industry in the Baltic Sea Region. BALTREL gathers 14 organizations now, with operations in Belarus, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Latvia, Lithuania, Norway, Poland, Russia and Sweden. |
